Ways to Give

The Poplar Bridge PTA is a nonprofit organization that provides many of the extras, even some of the essentials, that the school budget cannot accommodate. As a result, the Poplar Bridge students, families, teachers and staff enjoy a more fulfilling and complete school environment. We are committed to enriching each child’s school experience, but we need your support to make that happen. There are numerous ways you can make a gift to Poplar Bridge. Discover the method that works best for you below.

Direct donations eliminate the hassles of traditional fundraising programs, gets more money to our classrooms, and allows your money to work harder for our students. 100% of your donation goes directly to the school and is 100% tax deductible! No amount is too small - or too big!

The Polar Pride Fund

First and foremost there is The Polar Pride Fund, the PTA's direct-donation drive. This drive allows each family to give a one-time donation in lieu of countless fundraising efforts. Donate any amount that works for you, at any time that works for you.

Corporate Matching

Many companies offer matching gift or giving programs. Most of them match contributions dollar for dollar, and some also provide a match for your volunteer hours. Turn your $100 donation into a $200 donation, or your 20 hours of volunteer time into a $100 donation with the help of your employer. Some examples of companies that have matched gifts for our PTA include: Bank of America, US Bank Foundation, Best Buy, Medtronic, Wells Fargo, and CH Robinson.

Thrivent Choice Donation

Are you a Thrivent member? If so, there may be two ways you can donate to the Poplar Bridge PTA:

Thrivent Choice Dollars - If you’re an eligible Thrivent Financial member and have Choice Dollars® available to direct, you can direct those to the Poplar Bridge PTA.
Thrivent Action Team - You may be eligible for one or two Action Teams. An Action Team is $250 in seed money that could go towards materials or working in partnership for a PTA fundraiser! The best part is it only costs $25/year and can be used to host a PB gathering!

General Mills Digital Box Tops for Education

Look for Box Tops on hundreds of products at your grocery store. They come in all shapes and sizes and each one is worth 10 cents for Poplar Bridge. Believe it or not, they add up! To participate, download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings online.

Community Sponsorships

We are currently seeking Community Sponsors for Poplar Bridge PTA. Do you work for a company, own a company, or know of a company that would like to become a sponsor of Poplar Bridge Elementary? With sponsorships we can provide visible exposure to students, parents, and staff whether they are onsite or virtual. Your business can take pride in making this important and worthy contribution, and your generosity will benefit the educational enrichment of our students. Visibility may include recognition on our website, PTA Facebook page, space on our online newsletters, and/or a table at one of our community engagement events. Amazon Smile

Do you like to shop at Amazon? Your Amazon shopping can raise money for the PB PTA - for free! AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of all eligible purchases to our PTA. To get started, sign up to AmazonSmile, and select Poplar Bridge PTA as your charity selection.

Dine to Donate

A deliciously easy way to raise money for our school. Dine at a local restaurant on a particular day and the restaurant donate back a set percentage of the sales. Past events have included Culver's, Full Tilt, Chipotle, Papa Murphy's, and more.
